Dr. Caeley J. Melmed |
| Dr. Melmed grew up in Dallas and later attended Texas A&M University for both undergraduate and veterinary school degrees. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. Thereafter, she attended The Ohio State University for an Internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Melmed then returned to Texas A&M University to pursue a residency in Internal Medicine. Following completion of her residency in 2004, she returned to Dallas and has practiced Internal Medicine in the D/FW area since that time. Dr. Melmed's particular interests include hematology, immune mediated disease, renal disease, hepatic disease, as well as critical internal medicine cases. |
Dr. Erika Haschke Pickens |
Dr. Pickens was born in Seattle, WA and grew up primarily in Austin, TX. She graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with her Bachelors of Science degree in Biomedical Science in 1995. She remained at TAMU and graduated Cum Laude in 1999 with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. This was followed by a one year Internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Metroplex Veterinary Centre in Irving, TX. Dr. Pickens worked in the Houston area as general practitioner for 2 years. She then pursued her long-time interest in internal medicine and completed a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at Louisiana State University. She has been practicing Internal Medicine in the D/ FW area since 2004. Dr. Pickens' interests include endocrinology, hematology, infectious disease, and critical internal medicine cases.
